Hatch Breakfast
Hatch 44, a wonderful breakfast/brunch/lunch cafe in Metuchen, NJ hired me to create 4 murals for their brand new location. This was one of the interior murals.
The direction for this one was pretty simple, as the entire sentence needed to be laid out in a simple sans serif typeface formatted into a box with a few abstract illustrations around. My initial sketches, included here, were done before this direction was adopted so I had the opportunity to try something a bit more creative at first with this long text.
