Wedding Design

Wedding Save the Dates, invitations, menus, signage, and monogram created for my own wedding. The main wedding color was magenta and the theme was floral/garden-inspired, so I wanted to create this feeling in my invitations. I painted various watercolor flowers and leaves to use on all of the materials and hand-lettered a custom monogram in Illustrator. The Save the Date monogram and designs found below are different as they were created months before the wedding theme was decided and I didn't want to show any of our wedding designs until the official invitations were sent out.

I created a custom stamp with our names and address to be used on all wedding-related mail. The stamp design had to be simple in order for the ink not to bleed into the small details so I kept it clean with just two strands of leaves on either side of the address that echoed the garden theme of the wedding.

Although the venue provided their own menus, I wanted to continue the floral theme and designed and printed my own menus for the reception.

Since I was going all out already, I decided that it would be great to make my own soy candles as wedding favors for our guests. After an entire day in the kitchen with my mom, we made about 100 apple-scented candles for which I then created monogram labels and tags.

I have a lot of family in Ukraine and even though I knew most of them couldn't come to America for the wedding, I still wanted to create an invitation for them in Ukrainian and send it to them as a keepsake. I made these along with my American Save the Date cards as they had to go out way in advance so I used one of our engagement photos for it.
