self promotion

A fold-out poster created as a mailer to potential employers. The challenge of this project was to create a design that would work seamlessly as the poster was being folded out. On the back, I created a visual timeline of my life accompanied by drawings. This timeline was broken up into three parts: one showing a chronological story of my life and how I became a designer, one listing the things I love and the last listing one-word descriptions of myself.

Folded up poster. I kept the cover very simple so that when it's folded out, all of the fun colors are a surprise.

I included many small drawings illustrating certain life events or things I love. For a closer look, all of these can also be found separately at the bottom of this page.

Showing the process of folding the poster out. It first opens like a book, with my background and education listed and as it folds out further, more information is revealed, such as places I've been to, my work experience, interests and goals.

Sketches & Illustrations

These are all of the drawings I included on the poster. All of the line drawings were done with the help of my Wacom Intuos tablet. The rest are sketches I had for various ideas for the poster, to show a bit of my process.
